This is a relatively easy hike. The hike from the Lake Louise parking lot to Saddle Back Pass is straight forward with a steady elevation gain. The hike from Saddle Back Pass to the top of Mt Fairview might be considered a scramble however it is unlikely you will need to use your hands if you are steady on your feet.
The view from the top is fabulous and gives you an excellent perspective of Lake Louise and awesome views of the surrounding mountains.
